Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter that has been serving people and pets for over 80 years.

Through compassion and collaboration, we are building a community in Silicon Valley where every pet has a home. In 2013 we helped 2,201 cats, 1,130 dogs, 150 rabbits, and 146 rats find a forever-home. In addition, we reunited 49 cats, 156 dogs, and 2 rats with their homes in the community and helped keep an additional 500 animals in their existing homes.
