Artisan Partners Virtual Food Drive

Due to COVID-19, Riverwest Food Pantry has ceased all local food drives and drastically scaled back produce rescue, requiring them to adapt to new ways of stocking their inventory. Of the 300,000 pounds of food that the Riverwest Food pantry distributes to our community every year, 60,000 pounds comes from local food drives and another 70,000 comes from rescued produce. The loss of these two sources of inventory, food drives and rescued produce together, is valued at $16,300 per month.
