for Virginia Peninsula Foodbank
For close to 62,000 Peninsula residents, a daily meal isn’t a choice between different dishes. It’s a choice between food and other critical needs – like childcare, electricity, medicine, transportation, etc. Nobody should be forced to make a choice to go hungry. With your support, we can come together to help our neighbors achieve long-term food security, so they no longer have to make such tough decisions.
Hunger exists in every zip code in our region, and it is year-round. Foodbanks play a vital role in the disaster relief efforts like we have experienced with COVID-19. In order to meet the consistent need for healthy meals, the Foodbank partners with over 150 organizations and feeding programs to distribute food effectively and to minimize hunger in our community. You make our mission possible.
Thank you for your generosity so no one has to be in a possible to make impossible choices. Your compassion for a healthier community helps fill plates, bring hope, and place smiles on so many faces.
