First American (Arizona) Virtual School Supply Drive

Join First American's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Council & FirstAmCares as we work together to build brighter futures for our youth.  

Each year employees across the state of Arizona work together to support AASK in their annual backpack drive.  Many of the children in foster care do not have the right supplies to succeed in school and we want to help.  We believe in their mission, every child in foster care should have someone who cares. Arizona is experiencing a record number of children in foster care. These children enter the system by no fault of their own and often come from backgrounds filled with abuse, neglect, and pain. Sadly, the typical family and community relationships that most children experience growing up are nonexistent for children in foster care.  These children have experienced trauma and have lost connections to all that was familiar to them. They most likely will move from home to home and live life with only their dignity and self-respect to truly call their own.
