The name says it all - we are an innovative way for you to give goods (food, school supplies, animal shelter items, and more) to help others. Our online platform and technology make it easy to buy and donate needed items. Then we deliver those items straight to the doorstep of the charity. In this way, a local charity can be supported by the generosity of people all over the country.

Are there any fees to run a drive on YouGiveGoods?

No, there is no cost to set up and run a drive. Our marketing and promotional tools to support the drive are also free.

How long does it take to set up a drive online?

You can set up your own drive in minutes on YouGiveGoods. Setting up a challenge with multiple drives will take longer. If you need help, a YouGiveGoods rep is available to assist you in setting up your drive. Just give us a call at 877.526.4483 or email us at inquiry@yougivegoods.com.

What type of virtual drives can I run?

You can use YouGiveGoods to run drives for a variety of causes. We offer food (including popular food pantry and soup kitchen products, fresh produce, weekend backpack, Kosher), baby food/supplies, personal care items, blankets, school supplies, toys and pet shelter items. We refresh our inventory based on demand from charities and nonprofits across the nation.

Who selects and contacts the charity being supported?

In most cases, the Drive Captain has already selected a charity when they initiate their drive. But if you are searching for a charity to support, YouGiveGoods has hundreds of charity partners in need across the country that you can consider for your drive. If you are a charity, and are interested in signing up with us, please contact us to discuss.

Who promotes the drives?

Drive promotion is meant to be a team effort, initiated and coordinated by the Drive Team. You can invite friends, family members, and fellow volunteers to rally in efforts. YouGiveGoods offers email and social media sharing as the primary vehicles for promoting the drives. We also periodically feature various drives on our home page, which aids in promotion as well.

Is my purchase tax-deductible?

Yes, your purchase through YouGiveGoods is tax-deductible. You will be sent a tax receipt from the YouGiveGoods Foundation via email for the donated goods.

How long does it take for the goods to be delivered?

Goods are delivered approximately 15 business days after the drive end date.

How will I know when my goods are shipped?

You will be notified via email when your goods are shipped.

What is the YouGiveGoods Foundation

YouGiveGoods Foundation is a registered 501 (c)(3) organization that accepts directed donations of goods and/or money from groups, companies or individuals to charitable organizations. The YouGiveGoods Foundation receives all the donated goods purchased on YouGiveGoods.com drives, issues the donors their tax receipts and ensures 100% of the given goods are delivered to the intended recipient organization.
