Help Grassroot Givers encourage readership and literacy among children throughout the Capital Region
The Grassroot Givers Book Project has provided over 100,000 books to the Capital Region since our founding in 2011. We have a goal to double this number in 2017. These books go directly to individuals and families in need to help them to establish their own home libraries. We also provide books to local teachers, public schools, literacy programs, and dozens of partner organizations. Â All of our services are free of charge.
All books donated to Grassroot Givers will directly benefit our programs such as our Little Free Library program. The Little Free Library program is a part of an international book-sharing movement that involves sidewalk-side book boxes placed throughout the community. Â Grassroot Givers' LFLs are placed in front of local public schools, and we encourage students and their families to take books home with them to read.
Donating books is easy! Click on SHOP NOW to purchase the books you would like to donate. Â We really appreciate all of your support!
