State Senator Kevin Thomas' 2nd Annual Virtual Food Drive

Senator Kevin Thomas is partnering with Long Island Cares to help Long Islanders in need. 

Lond Island Cares is working hard to assist our neighbors in need with critical food and resources during this public health emergency.  You can help support their work by joining Senator Kevin Thomas in this virtual food drive.

With a +66% increase in food insecurity on Long Island (2020 vs. 2019), here is how Long Island Cares supported our community from March 2020-January 2021:

- 255,674 total people assisted of which 171,006 came for the 1st time

- 17.4 million pounds of food distributed

Donating food is easy! Click on SHOP NOW to purchase the goods you would like to donate. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. All goods ordered online will be shipped directly to Long Island Cares after the drive ends.

In addition to getting the food they need, Long Island Cares receives a 5% cash donation from YouGiveGoods based on the retail value of purchases from sponsored drive.
