Stony Brook University Summer Healthy Food Drive for Long Islanders

Many of us relish the memory of lazy summer days and vacations as a child. But the reality is that when schools close for the summer, kids lose access to free meals and face summer hunger. This event is part of the Community Service Day hosted by Stony Brook's new Center for Service Learning and Community Service.

Thankfully, helping virtually is easy!

Donate healthy food online. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. All donations ordered online will be shipped directly to Long Island Cares after the drive ends. In addition to the food you purchase online, 5% of the retail value of every purchase is gifted back to Long Island Cares!
