Buy a coat and take the plunge! Each coat will be available to kids in need in Umatilla
Last year we were able to donate 12 coats!
Donating goods is easy! Click on SHOP NOW to purchase the coat you would like to donate. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. All goods ordered online will be shipped directly to our partner, the Umatilla Morrow County Head Start after the drive ends.
Buy a coat from now until January, 8th 2022 to participate! The Polar Bear Plunge will be on Saturday, January 8th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m at the Umatilla Marina Swim Beach. There will be free food, music, activities, giveaways, and more! Take the plunge on your own or plunge with the group at 1 p.m.!
The goal of this event is to provide new winter coats for youth in our area.
Everyone who buys a coat gets a free custom coffee mug AND will get entered to win one of three fantastic gift baskets.
To make this event a success, the city is working with the Umatilla Morrow County Head Start. If your family is in need of children's coats please contact Ms. Rita at UMCHS at (541)969-3338 or email her at rcampos@umchs.org. Coats will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last.
