On February 6th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake and 7.5 magnitude aftershock struck southwestern Turkey and northeast Syria. To date, thousands of lives have been lost, 68,000 injured and 700,000 displaced during extreme cold weather. The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that up to 23 million individuals will be impacted by this tragedy.
Dozens of international organizations are mobilizing resources and conducting assessments across the area of impact. Good360 is working closely with partners such as Islamic Relief USA, MAP International, International Medical Corps, IMA World Health, Global Empowerment Mission, World of Giving, CISDF, Save the Children, Airlink, UPS Foundation, LIFT Nonprofit Logistics, and the membership of Partnership for Quality Medical Donations to determine the best way to help.
