The Place ignites the potential in youth to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives.
Their vision is that all Colorado youth have safe housing, supportive relationships, and the opportunity for self-sufficiency and success. The shelter is a warm, safe option to a night on the streets. Open every day of the year, the 20-bed facility is the only licensed youth shelter in Colorado Springs. There they provide meals, clothing, and a health clinic link for youth ages 15 to 20.
The Place has requested certain cleaning and hygenic items, as well as arts and crafts supplies to keep the youth occupied and busy during this time of social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
