Every year the United States devotes the month of February to honoring, acknowledging, and celebrating the indelible influence of Black Americans on US history and culture.  From civil rights activists to barrier-breaking leaders in science, politics, industry, sports, and the arts, Black History Month brings to the forefront many of the countless contributions African Americans have made to the United States and to the world.

Black History Month is a time to acknowledge inequities and support Black Americans facing adversity by advocating for the organizations working to lift them up.  YouGiveGoods is pleased to be a part of this effort by offering a simple, effective way to deliver tangible aid to these organizations through an online giving event.
