Associated Humane Societies (AHS) is a nonprofit 501c3 and the largest animal rescue in New Jersey, with locations in Newark, Tinton Falls and Forked River. We rescue, shelter, advocate, and provide adoption services for thousands of animals each year, including traditional pets such as cats, dogs, rabbits and reptiles, but also spanning wildlife, birds and exotic animals (sheltered at Popcorn Park, our federally-licensed zoo in Forked River).

AHS takes in dozens of animal per day, in all conditions, and we take great care to nurse them back to health and prepare them for new, loving homes. We need many supplies to care for the animals we shelter, and they-- whether furry, feathered or scaled, thank you for your help!

It's easy to help! To purchase food online, just click the â€œDonate to This Driveâ€ button and select the food you want to contribute. At the end of the drive, the food will be delivered to AHS for you and you will receive a tax receipt via email. Thank you for your support!
