Brighten the holidays for children in need. You can help by donating a special gift today.
The Salvation Army Angel Tree began in the early 1980s and allows the community to choose Angels (children ages 0-13) from trees displayed at area malls and corporations, and purchase gifts for that child at Christmas. Each Angel represents an underprivileged child who, without the support of the community, might not have a Christmas.
Donors adopt the Angels by providing new clothing and gifts for their Christmas. Because we are not able to physically obtain the Angel Tree tags, we will instead be doing an online toy drive to support this program. Many of the tags taken off the trees in the various locations are not returned, or do not provide all the items requested. Our toy and clothing drive will supplement those short falls to ensure that all Angels are provided with gifts.
