On Long Island, the food insecure includes the unemployed and working poor, children, seniors, veterans, the homeless, and other socio-economic and ethnic groups.  Approximately 250,000 people on Long Island suffer from food insecurity, including 79,000 children. Join the fight against hunger in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, NY and make a difference in the lives of thousands of your neighbors. Helping is easy!

Donating goods is easy! Click on SHOP NOW to purchase the goods you would like to donate. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. At the end of the drive all goods ordered online will be shipped directly to Long Island Cares.
