The Feline Freedom Coalition, the only no-cage, adoption and medical treatment facility dedicated to feral cats in South Carolina, is hoping to receive $3000 of donated food by January 2, 2015 to feed the 200 feral cats that we care for daily on our 20 acre sanctuary in Ravenel, South Carolina.
Of the 3500 cats we have trapped, neutered and returned in Charleston County during the past fifteen years, some cannot be returned to where they were found due to habitat destruction, physical danger or overall fragility. Also a very small percentage of kittens do not socialize therefore, they cannot be adopted at one of the three Petsmarts where FFC finds homes for 320 to 400 kittens and adult cats yearly.
