Help families in crisis impacted by Hurricane Ida. Donate most-needed goods today.
To address the needs of residents affected by the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Ida, United Way of Greater Newark has established the Hurricane Ida Relief Virtual Drive. Residents in Newark faced severe flooding damage. Many individuals abandoned water filled cars on as they fled for their safety and some needed rescuing. We are now looking to help Newark residents recover and we need your help. The Hurricane Ida Relief Drive will directly help residents as they clean, repair, and rebuild their homes and to support basic needs.
United Way of Greater Newark is committed to helping the community, especially during times of natural disasters. We immediately responded to the needs of the community during Hurricanes Sandy and Irene, and we will continue to help those in need as a result of Hurricane Ida.
To support those affected, we are accepting donations via our website, www.uwnewark.org, Hurricane Ida Fund designation. One hundred percent of all donations received will go directly to those who were impacted by the hurricane. We appreciate your support and We Stand United with our community.
