The Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort for Puerto Rico

Following his visit to Puerto Rico to deliver emergency supplies and see firsthand the widespread damage and devastation from Hurricane Maria, Governor Cuomo launched the Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort for Puerto Rico. The effort brings together a wide range of civic, business and industry partners to provide needed services, goods and funds to help the people of Puerto Rico recover and rebuild, and provides opportunities for New Yorkers to contribute to the relief efforts.

Long Island Cares, Inc. is happy to support our elected officials for the people of Puerto Rico. We are going to be picking up donations from the offices of elected officials and transporting all donations to the Long Island Central Donation Center.

2) Shop online to purchase most needed items: Click SHOP below to purchase the goods you would like to donate. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. All goods ordered online will be shipped directly to Long Island Cares in bulk throughout the drive to be consolidated with donations across the state and delivered to Puerto Rico.
