Merck 2020 Virtual Stuff the Bus

This upcoming school year, many children will lack the necessary supplies they will need to learn, virtually or in the classroom. United Way of Greater Union County’s annual Stuff the Bus campaign provides children residing in Union County, North Plainfield, and South Plainfield with new school supplies!

Stuff the Bus has proven to be one of our more popular volunteer initiatives of the season. Although we will be unable to host this drive in person this year, we are excited to partner with YouGiveGoods to make this year’s drive completely virtual! Additionally, United Way of Greater Union County will receive a 5% cash donation based on the total dollar amount of supplies purchased! We are looking for partners who are willing to help provide ready-to-learn backpacks! Can we count on you?

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! The Merck Foundation will provide a 1:1 match for your school supply donation of $25 or more, to be dedicated toward the purchase of additional school supplies. Please submit your match request to the YouGiveGoods Foundation, EIN number 36-4787040. For confirmation of your match, please include the YouGiveGoods Foundation email address, matching@yggfoundation.org when submitting your match request on the Merck Gives Back website. Please note, the deadline for submitting the match for this event is July 31, 2020.
