Virtual School Supply Drive
For P.S. 165 Brooklyn

ReadNYC is United Way of New York City’s signature program to improve grade-level reading by third grade - a critical milestone in determining a child’s future academic & economic success.

The impact of school closures and the disproportionate impact of COVID- 19 in already vulnerable communities has and will continue to exacerbate long-standing disparities and opportunity gaps. Your donation will provide needed school supplies and PPE to children and position them for increased success as they navigate hybrid virtual and in person school schedules this Fall. 

Although we are be unable to host an in person drive this year, we are excited to partner with YouGiveGoods to make this year’s drive completely virtual.  Additionally, United Way of New York City will receive a 5% cash donation based on the total dollar amount of supplies purchased! We are looking for partners, who are willing to help us provide the necessary school supplies.  Can we count on you?

In addition to getting the supplies the children need, the United Way of New York City will get a 5% cash gift from YouGiveGoods for all sponsored drives.

You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. All goods ordered online will be shipped directly to the United Way of New York City after the drive ends.
