In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, help support Rosie's Place, the first women's shelter in the United States, with Northeastern SAAC's virtual food drive!
This Women’s History Month, we honor the achievements, strength, and resilience of women everywhere. From breaking barriers in various fields to nurturing families and communities, women continue to shape the world with their determination, courage, and compassion. By supporting initiatives that empower women and advocating for policies that promote equity, we can contribute to a society where everyone’s potential is fully realized.
Donating goods is easy! Click on SHOP NOW to purchase the goods you would like to donate. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. At the end of the drive, all goods ordered online will be shipped directly to Rosie's Place, the first women's shelter in the United States, located here in the city of Boston.
Rosie's Place is a multi-service community center that offers women emergency shelter and meals, and so much more: a food pantry, ESOL classes, legal assistance, wellness care, one-on-one support, housing and job search services, and community outreach. Here women will find support, opportunity and the tools they need to make a new start.
SAAC would like to personally thank you for your contributions and your support to those in need!
