for Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Food Bank
Hi, my name is Brittany J. Rosario. I have been a regular volunteer for Long Island Cares since 2018. I usually help do weekend food drives, organize and package food items at the warehouse in Hauppauge or donate to local food pantries whenever I can. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many in-person food drives and local outreach events have been cancelled.
REASONS TO CONTRIBUTE
Long Island Cares has made a great impact on the lives of others (children, families, Veterans, even pets) in times of need on a regular day, during the government shutdown of 2019 and now through the pandemic. This virtual food/hygiene drive will assist in ensuring that the families of Long Island have improved food security and can stay healthy through these difficult times.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
Making a contribution is made easy using the online register! Simply click SHOP NOW, select food items and hygiene products that you would like to donate and finalize your donation using a debit/credit card (Visa, AMEX, MasterCard, Discover) or PayPal account. After your order is submitted, you will be emailed a tax receipt with the date, time and dollar amount for your donation.
All contributions made will be shipped directly to Long Island Cares for distribution following the end of the drive. If you can help me reach my goal sooner, then the drive will end earlier than the listed date so that the families in need can receive your gifts sooner than later.
DON'T FORGET TO SHARE THIS FOOD DRIVE WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! Social media links under my photo!
Online prices include shipping, handling and YouGiveGoods services.
