Join Strake Jesuit in feeding Houston families during the holidays
Over 1 million people in our region experience food insecurity, lacking consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. This includes almost 1 in 4 children, and the need for food assistance has increased considerably since 2020. Donations to local food drives directly support families in need, helping to alleviate hunger and reduce the risk of associated health problems. Every contribution counts in the fight against hunger.
Between October 17–November 22, Jesuit schools across the USA are collecting food for local food banks. The Great Ignatian Challenge takes its name from St. Ignatius, who still inspires us with his words: "Love ought to show itself in deeds more than in words." Strake Jesuit's mission is to assist young men in their formation as servant leaders and as Men for Others. We ask students to take St. Ignatius's words to heart, and magnify God's glory through the way they live their lives. Together, we can feed millions of people today, and inspire our students for tomorrow. Please join us!
