The Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide movement that harnesses the excitement of the Super Bowl to fight hunger by raising awareness and donations for local food pantries across the country. Since it's founding in 1990, this grass-roots movement has raised over $193 in cash and food donations to help feed those facing food insecurity in our communities. In 2024, more than 44 million Americans face hunger, one in five are children. Your efforts and support are needed now more than ever.

Here's how you can take part in the 2024 Souper Bowl of Caring:

    • Choose: Select a local food pantry you’d like to support. Use the Tackle Hunger Map to locate organizations in your community.
    • Donate: Make a donation of cash to benefit The Souper Bowl of Caring here, donate food or cash directly to to your selected pantry, or visit YouGiveGoods and purchase food for donation online. Choose from our current Souper Bowl of Caring Giving events.
    • Raise food: Make an even bigger impact by hosting your own Souper Bowl of Caring food drive. • Celebrate: Invite friends, family, and your online community to support the Souper Bowl of Caring by donating to your food drive or to TackleHunger.org and celebrate your success. Whether you donate one can or raise one thousand cans, every can counts in the fight against hunger. Use the hashtag #TackleHunger and be a part of the national conversation.

And once the Superbowl excitement has died down, we hope you'll remember the goal of the Souper Bowl of Caring all year long. When we come together as a team, we can tackle hunger together.
