Team Juice Box Summer Juice Box Challenge 2022

Kids' Meals Inc. delivers free, healthy meals to preschool aged children in the Houston area. Over the summer, they also deliver free meals to older children who are home from school.  This summer they will deliver more than 588,000 free, healthy meals to hungry children between June 1 - August 31. That is 10,000 kids EVERY DAY.

Every meal they deliver consists of a protein, healthy snack, fruit, and a drink (most often a juice box). The 100% juice is the most expensive part of the meal. By participating in the Summer Juice Box Challenge, teams from across Houston help reduce operational costs and ensure that Kids’ Meals can meet the ever-increasing demand.

Team Juice Box is a group of five cousins ages 6-9. Last year they collected 1,000 juice boxes and were the only non-corporate team.  This year we are adding an online donation option to maximize our reach. 

Help us ensure each meal has a 100% juice box by making an online donation through the YouGiveGoods site. You may also donate actual juice boxes - you can drop them off at the O'Black's or McDaniel's house or we can come pick them up from you!

Your impact goes further! In addition to the juice boxes donated, an additional 5% of the retail value of every purchase goes back to Kids' Meals!
