Help us Provide Food for Our Neighbors in Need!
Dear Caregivers,
Across Long Island, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we live. With business and school closures, hundreds of thousands of our neighbors are facing new obstacles, with many needing food assistance for the first time. However, the crisis has also brought the community together to support each other through these difficult times. Island Harvest Food Bank is supporting our most vulnerable neighbors, especially children and seniors. We want to do our part to help them.
Huntington Hospital is running an online event raising the food needed (https://yougivegoods.com/drive-huntingtonhospital) to support our Long Island Community. With each purchase, food will be shipped directly to Island Harvest. Your donation to their Emergency Response effort will help them to continue to get food to people sorely in need during this unprecedented public health emergency.
Despite the social distancing, the community is now closer in new and beautiful ways. We are stronger together, which is why your donation is critical and will help ensure that we are providing food to communities in need.
Please show your support to Island Harvest Food Bank by donating. We can’t let hunger become a symptom of COVID-19.
Items available for purchase have been selected to meet the nutritional needs of our community members.
