Did you know during the summer months there are no Free Breakfast or Lunch Programs at 656 public schools on Long Island? Leaving approximately 80,000 children for almost two and a half months food insecure. Can you imagine being hungry for almost 70 days, every day? Thankfully you can help in 1 of 2 ways!

1) Host a Virtual Food Drive: Click here to easily set up your own online food drive or contact Billy at wgonyou@licares.org to get started. Long Island Cares will get 5% cash back on every purchase made on sponsored virtual food drives.

2) Donate most needed food online! Click SHOP below to select the business you would like to support and purchase the food you would like to donate. You will be emailed a tax receipt at the time of purchase. At the end of the drive all goods ordered online will be shipped directly to Long Island Cares for distribution to our residents in need.
